Custom Chrome® USA, LLC an international manufacturer and wholesale distributor of aftermarket products for Harley Davidson® motorcycles, announces it is an OFFICIAL SPONSOR of the 82nd Annual City of Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. The Rally will be held August 5th-14th, 2022.
The City of Sturgis Motorcycle Rally was started by several Indian Motorcycle riders in August 1938. In the early stages, it attracted very few participants and visitors. As the years passed and the Rally continued annually, it became more and more popular with motorcycle enthusiasts increasing in attendance and reaching approximately 500,000+ attendees throughout the 10-day Event. The City of Sturgis Motorcycle Rally is an exciting and unforgettable experience for visitors who can enjoy seeing motorcycles from all over the country and the world, bike shows, live concerts, demo rides, motorcycle races, and the largest parties around. Like Custom Chrome, the many vendors that participate in Sturgis, bring visitors the newest products and product knowledge available in today’s market for all of your motorcycle wants and needs, as well as the opportunity to meet and learn from other brand leaders in the industry.
Custom Chrome® started in 1970 with four friends in a motorcycle shop behind a two-car garage on West San Carlos St in San Jose California. The friends noticed that a growing number of motorcycle owners wanted to personalize their bikes, so they opened a motorcycle accessory store that specialized in chroming and polishing anything brought in. With that, Coast Cycles was born in a retail space adjacent to the garage.
Within a year, Coast Cycles changed its name to Custom Chrome Inc. (CCI) and began to seek out manufactures of custom parts and accessories, collaborating with them on unique new items built to the company’s specifications. Soon, motorcycle dealers around the country discovered the growing line of custom parts and accessories available from Custom Chrome® and the company quickly grew into an international manufacturer and wholesale distributor of aftermarket products for Harley Davidson® motorcycles.
Custom Chrome® has been an independent supplier of aftermarket parts and accessories for Harley Davidson® motorcycles for over half a century. As of March, 2019 the company now operates under the name Custom Chrome USA LLC DBA Custom Chrome®. The company headquarter is located in Morgan Hill, CA and a distribution center in Harrisburg, PA.
